The multi-frequency vibration sputum elimination machine is designed for patients with sputum elimination disorder. Through vibration percussion, the mucus and metabolites on the surface of the respiratory mucosa are relaxed and the respiratory secretions are discharged. At present, the clinical postural drainage for patients with postoperative and respiratory infections is mainly implemented by the chest physical therapy method of manual manipulation by medical staff. The multi-frequency vibration sputum elimination machine adopts the mechanical vibration force transmission method, and uses its unique vibration function to simulate the working methods of manual percussion, tremor and squeezing, which can completely replace manual manipulation and fully realize the purpose of postural drainage for patients.

Treatment principle:

The power supply provides energy for the whole system, sets the treatment time and vibration frequency through the control panel and sends instructions to the control system. The control system controls the rotation of the servo motor according to the set instructions, and the servo motor provides power for the percussion head through the transmission flexible shaft. (As shown in Figure 1) There is an eccentric mechanism inside the tapping head. When rotating, the tapping head has a radial amplitude of 7mm, and the tapping force generated by the amplitude has a horizontal component and a vertical component (as shown in fig. 2). The outside of the percussion head is equipped with soft sponge and non-woven cloth cover. According to the principle of clinical chest physical therapy, the medical staff set and operate the sputum elimination machine, and the percussion head produces a percussion force with periodic changes in a specific direction on the surface of the patient's body. The directional therapeutic force is highly penetrating and can penetrate cortex, muscle, tissue and body fluid. The percussion and tremor generated by the percussion force in the vertical direction can promote the relaxation and liquefaction of mucus and metabolites on the mucosal surface of respiratory tract. The directional squeezing and tremor generated by the percussion force in the horizontal direction help the liquefied mucus to be discharged from the body in the selected direction (e. g. bronchioline→bronchioline→trachea → trachea).
